Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) has appointed Maree Squillacioti as Head of People and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Maree joined VFMC in 2017 and has been Acting Head of People since early 2025. During this time, she has brought her experience in human resources operations and leadership to the organisation. As Head of People, Maree is responsible for the team that develops and delivers the people strategy, initiatives and practices of VFMC.
Kate Galvin, VFMC Chief Executive Officer, was delighted to confirm Maree’s appointment as Head of People.
‘VFMC has a high-performance and values-based culture that Maree has been instrumental in building, and now she will lead the team that helps to foster that culture across the organisation. The People function is critical to attracting, developing and retaining great people and this is a key priority for VFMC in a highly competitive talent market.’
Maree said she was thrilled to be appointed to the role.

Prior to joining VFMC, Maree spent eight years in consulting roles and 12 years at NAB in various senior Human Resources leadership roles.
Maree holds a Master of Human Resource Management from RMIT University and a Graduate Certificate of Management from AGSM at UNSW Business School.
