The Chairman of Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC), Mr James MacKenzie, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Tom Considine to the Board of VFMC (effective 8 June 2021).
“This appointment broadens the public sector policy, financial and risk management expertise of the VFMC Board. In particular, Mr Considine brings extensive experience in infrastructure, policy and strategy development, and risk management,” said Mr MacKenzie.
Mr Considine is a partner in the Advisory and Investment business with the Sayers Group. Prior to this, Mr Considine held several executive roles in the public sector, including Interim CEO, Suburban Rail Loop Authority, Group Head, Advisory and Civic Infrastructure at Development Victoria, and Chief of Staff to the Treasurer of Victoria.
Mr Considine holds a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne (MBS).
VFMC is responsible for the investment of over $70 billion for Victorian public authorities. Clients include the Emergency Services and State Super, WorkSafe Victoria, Transport Accident Commission, and the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority.
